Frequently Asked Questions

Once we connect about your student's needs (e.g., help with the Common Application essay only, or help with that plus a few additional supplemental essays), I'll give you a package price and invoice you for the required deposit. Then I send over a student intake form for your student to complete, which helps me learn about them before our first session. From there, I schedule sessions directly with your student, unless it makes more sense to coordinate with you instead.

The earlier, the better, especially for Early Decision and Early Action deadlines.  Summer before senior year is a great time to get a head start on college essays, but many students do not begin working on them until fall of senior year. I will do my best to accommodate your student's earliest application deadline, even if it means condensing our timeline if your student hasn't started yet. I take students in the order they reserve coaching with me. Reach out to discuss availability!

Yes! All sessions are conducted over Zoom, so I work with students anywhere. For students in my local area who prefer in-person sessions, just reach out and we'll discuss options!
